Meet your memoir writer
I am Andreja Bogdanovski, a journalist, researcher and experienced interviewer. For more than fifteen years, I have interviewed people about personal, complex and sometimes sensitive experiences. I bring that same care, curiosity and discretion to every FirstMemoir project, helping each client tell their story naturally and in their own voice.
One writer, from beginning to end
You will work directly with me throughout the entire process, from our first conversation and recorded interviews to the writing, revisions and completion of your finished book. You will not be passed between different interviewers, writers or project managers.
Your story, your decisions
Every memoir is created around the person whose story it tells. You decide what to include, what to leave private and how you would like your story presented. You will be able to read, comment on and approve the manuscript as it develops.
Meet in person or remotely
I am based near Berwick-upon-Tweed and offer face-to-face meetings across Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, including Edinburgh and Newcastle. Meetings can also take place by telephone or video, Travel further afield can also be arranged, depending on the requirements of the project.

The right choice for those who want a meticulously crafted book based on four interview sessions with me. I will assist you in incorporating a selection of photos, coupled with professional design and layout, to create a polished memoir.

Complete
With more face-to-face interviews, pages and photos, this option gives you peace of mind that you will have enough space and that your story will be told in detail.

Premium
This represents the premium option allowing you up to ten interview sessions and up to 50 photographs and 30,000 words. You will also receive a digital version of the book and an optional video greeting recording for your loved ones. A gift which will last.

Bespoke Project
For couples, family histories, business memoirs, founder biographies, tribute projects or projects requiring additional research.
